engine issue with 2014XC T6
Hi, I'm new to this but has anyone had piston problems? I have conscientiously maintained my volvo. To date I have spent over $18000 on maintenance and repairs none of which have been covered by the additional extended warranty I purchased. I have just over 90K in mileage and I am now being told I need to spend an additional $12,900 to replace pistons, oil trap, water pump, one way clutch, all tensioners and hardware. I'm not sure how to proceed. I am thoroughly disappointed as I have been a loyal volvo driver for years. Please advise.
Pistons?!? why? do you have any engine problems? any warning lights?
Oil trap due tend to fail, but it show signs that should be easy to spot
Water pump I replaced when I changed the belt kit (tensioner and pully as well), better combine so pay less for work
