Dealer did the Polestar Engineered upgrade this week, what a difference! You really can feel it in most phases of driving, more responsive, better acceleration, faster overall. Could not be happier!

 

I was thinking about it for my B5 but I am worried about any changes in transmission mapping and overall fueling. Smoothness is my desire and I fear it will be too harsh. Thoughts?

 

When in "polestar" mode - auto stop/start is turned off for those interested.

Only other way (i've found ) to turn off stop/start (without using the brake pedal) is to tap the shifter in to manual mode every time you come to a stop - then remember to put it back into drive!
