How Reliable are Older XC60's with 100k+ Miles?

Possibly thinking about one of those, anyone knows how reliable they are once they go past 100k+ Miles? (looking at facelift 2013-2016 models probably)
Anyone has owned one of these at these or much higher miles?
The plan is to get one and put on another 100k miles on it without much problems, Doable or not with XC60?
Have viewed 3-4 of them, however I was able to come across one which was totally knackered with seriously obvious engine problems, than another one which was smoking from engine with only like 60k miles+ have heard that most of them suffer egr problems...
I really like the XC60 ,however not sure if it's wise to get one or go for something like honda cr-v which although isn't as nice looking and doesn't feels as nice probably won't give you any troubles even if it already has a lot of miles.

Stay away from the 2010s. Not sure about the 2011s. I know the 2012 onwards had all the previous issues fixed. I have a 2012 with the base 3.2. Just turned 100K. Still purrs like new. Regular oil and filter changes. Spark plugs next on the list. Coolant still looks good. No warning lights.
I bought it used, but I took my time and made sure it was it good condition at the right price.

I think I'm loosing my hope getting an XC60...
Today I went to look at one with 150k miles just to see what they look like at these miles and what I can expect ,The engine was rattling and close to toast.
Than I went to see one with 190k miles ( one owner car, full extensive service history etc, from the paperwork It was the kind of car one would dream about having....) well..
It was completely broken and on it's last legs, the engine sounded like it was about to fall apart any moment.
So far I have seen 7x XC60's of various years & Mileages.
- 4 of them were totally broken with obviously knackered engines
-1 had smoking engine
-1 had signs of something off with the engine, but still some life left in it- but not something I would purchase
Only 1 sounded/looked rather ok with no obvious faults that you could see right away apart from the owner skimping on servicing/not changing timingbelt and other crucial stuff..
And That's after sorting through tons of XC60's online where you could see that they are junk without having to go and see them after checking their history/MOT/ or talking with owners about them.
Am I really crazy for not wanting to give up and try to get one even after seeing that 90% of them have absolutely crap engines?
What the hell is wrong with these cars that they have such massive problems as they age?
btw all cars that I checked were diesels,Petrol XC60's are quite rare here.

I just got a 2012 XC60 with 325000 km on it. Drives well no engine problem but I started to feel a vibration while driving. Checked the tires , balanced them and aligned but the vibration is still there. Engine light is on because of the oxygen sensor but engine is strong and drives well.
