Hi
I have a 2012 XC60 D4 with an intermittent tailgate lock
internal dash switch doesn’t work, fob switch doesn’t work , tailgate micro switch works eventually.
i checked k the fuse, ok
i checked the tailgate switch Ok
i replaced the latch motor Ok
i checked the wiring as far as I could and under the carpet on passenger side and found no issues
now I’m stuck
if I put 12 v direct onto the socket on the tailgate motor then the latch operates but blows F11 fuse.
In guessing there must be a relay somewhere or a control module but I’m a bit stuck for ideas.

i have had a weird Battery low warning but I replaced battery and it’s still warning.
i wondered if the battery sensor was maybe dodgy? May have nothing to do with it.

help!
