Hi all,

Just bought a 2016 XC60 T5 Premier. It only came with one keyfob. The wife wants one for her keychain. Does anyone know if I can buy one off of Amazon ($50) and then have the key cut/programmed at a dealer? Or do I have to go direct to a dealer to get this done?

almost all keys these days are chipped and require programming. Not sure If I'd trust something off Amazon unless its a Genuine Volvo part. You can shop a mail order dealer like Tasca Parts to save on the part but you'll need to visit the dealer for the programming.
