Liftgate Release Button Replacement and Backup Sensors Always Beeping
I've got a 2012 XC-60 T6 with 171k miles on it. It may be the best car I've ever owned. Two questions:
1) The rear liftgate button (the physical button you press with your hand, not the latch) seems to have failed (works about 10% of the time). Liftgate works fine from interior button and fob. This seems an easy replacement and a $100 part. Anyone ever experience this?
2) More importantly, the rear backup sensors on this car beep constantly when in reverse. Is this a simple matter of a failed proximity sensor? Any advice here would be much appreciated!
