When I first got my car, a friend sent me a text. Every time i was in the car, the message would pop up on the screen. 4 months later, that text still randomly comes up on my screen -sometimes more than once when I am operating my vehicle. It hasn't stopped! I got a new phone a month ago. The message still pops up. I deleted the actual message from my phone. No relief. It's like a glitch and it's super annoying. It's a simple 2 word message "Y'all alright?". The car has had required software updates. Still comes up. Can anyone help?

Maybe delete the phone from the car, then pair it to the car again.

 

I have the same issue with my 2022 Inscription, but I also had the same problem with my previous car. The weird thing is that I kept receiving the same messages. It happens a few times a year. I know it's the same message because some are so random and make no sense so when I respond to the person with "what are you talking about?", they tell me that I asked the same thing a year ago. It tends to happen every time I do a phone update or make some change to my text app.

No idea why it happens, but I think it's the phone, not the car.
