Passenger Side Mirror Adjustment & Heating Issue - 2012 XC60 Navi Lux
Hi All,
Recently joined the Volvo ownership club with a 2012 D5 XC60. I absolutely love the car, however I have an issue that I'd like to sort out and I'm hoping somebody on here can give me a hand. The passenger side mirror adjustment control doesn't seem to be working, nor does the mirror defrost on the same side. The L control light illuminates when clicked, but mirror position doesn't change at all when I try to adjust it with the little joy stick. The R (drivers) side works fine, I can adjust that and the defrost function works that side too. Power fold works fine for both sides as well, it's just that L (passenger) side mirror adjustment and heater that's busted. My assumption is that the issue is probably a broken wire/ failed connection to the adjustment terminal on that side, as well as potentially the mirror heating element having failed. However I'm not 100% sure and I'm wondering if anybody else has experienced a similar issue and has an idea of what the cause could be and how to fix it? I'm handy with a soldering iron and multi-meter too, so if somebody can point me in the direction of a fuse box schematic for my model & year (as well as how to access it), that's be greatly appreciated. Any other ideas, places to check will also be great . Thanks all!
