Default Replacing heater hose adapter.

I am trying to figure out how to replace a leaking heater hose adapter on my son's 2015 xc60. Any help would be appreciated. How does it disconnect?

Hello - Did you ever figure this out? I have a leaking heater hose on the same vehicle (the hose's Volvo part number is 8641078) and the dealer quoted me $474 to replace it, although it costs $19. So obviously I'm going to try and do this myself. In case this is the same hose I thought you might have some insight.

Thanks

Hi, I have a leak from this same part. Were you able to replace it yourself? If so, do you mind sharing any tips?

Thanks, Tristan

Yes I was able to replace it myself but my memory of it is that 1) the hose was tough to locate in the car 2) there are different fittings on each end and 3) because of the fittings the old one was TOUGH to remove.

I guess the good news is that once the old one is off the new one is not that hard to install. I remember having to sort of disassemble the old one using pliers etc to get it off. Just be patient.

Good luck
