This worked! Thanks a lot. And my alarm didn't even go off when I reconnected the battery.... and my SiriusXM presets were also preserved!

My messages were "updating channels" and "Sirius not available" The technician resent signals to try to update without success. Finally they provided an Advanced Technical Support number, which also was not available on the weekend. I spoke with Advanced Support, and they stated that this is a known issue and they would call be back at the end of the week.
Is anyone else having an issue with their Sirius radio? or why the ID does not appear ? Thanks in advance for any feedback.
Sirius XM "died" very suddenly on my 2015 XC60 a couple of weeks ago. I took it in to the local Volvo dealer. They had to perform a system upgrade, which they did at no charge. While researching this I spoke with a law firm sponsoring a class action suit; however they never called me back. I also called Volvo Customer Service; they are aware of the matter and their position is that Satellite Radio changed from 3G to 4G. Worst case is you may have to replace the RDAR unit; which could be a $1200 repair.
