Swap AA/Google for Sensus?

I highly doubt they'll go backwards to Sensus from here -- even if it would be a temporary improvement. AAOS has the advantage of Google Maps in the instrument panel and OTA updates that will hopefully allow Waze there as well in the future, not to mention all the functions of Google Voice Assistant. There is just way more upside potential with AAOS than with Sensus. The fact that the first year of the switch has some growing pains is to be expected. I'm sure Google is motivated to maintain a leadership position over their potential competitors in this market (Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, et al) and to establish one over the best currently offered OSes by the car manufacturers as well (they are well behind systems like MBUX right now in all things save Nav/Maps). With GM and Ford joining the AAOS party next year, things should get better and better over the next 3-5years. Whether or not that will benefit the early adopters with 2022 Volvos remains to be scene -- it may not ever be as great as we would wish, but the future cars using AAOS should be amazing ("Hey Google, close the sunroof and adjust the suspension to comfort," for starters). If you want a polished system in your car today, then I'd recommend an MBUX-equipped Merc equivalent to your current Volvo model (XC60 = GLB/GLC) until AAOS has more polish.
