Hi everyone - I'm about to purchase a XC60 T8. We currently have a Nema 14-50 outlet installed in our garage for another car and I was wondering if there is a plug adapter we could use to plug the Volvo into the same outlet? If not, I will need to plug into a standard 110v or get a 220v installed. Hoping to speed up charging by using the 50amp Nema outlet.

You should be able to get an adapter at Amazon. Look for Nema 14-50P to 6-50R. You should be able to get 220 volts that way (legs on 14-50 are 110v each plus neutral and ground). Sorry I just saw I am replying to a very old post. Sorry.
