I would like to get an idea for the cost of a Volvo original tow hitch and wiring installation (parts + labor) for a '14 XC60 T6 AWD.

My dealer quoted me USD1200 and said they would need the car for 2 days.

 

I have been looking for my 2015.5. Lowest I've found was UHaul for $490. I got a few quotes that went up to $1150. I stopped looking after that. Apparently, there's a module that has to be programmed so the lights work without shorting the system out.

 

In case anyone is still interested, I purchased the original tow hitch (towbar) from the dealer online sale for about $200, installed it myself, a many hour process, then had the dealer install the wiring, and module, and download at $600 (half was parts, half was labor)
