Hi, I own a 2023 XC 60 B5.
Due to some terms, my employer is willing to sponsor for warranty. I would like to know your thoughts on which is the Best warranty and what covered under them. (don't care about how much it cost).

Yes, I did,

Just came to know that the warranty plan that i will take will replace the new car warranty. not sure if this is how it works.
Example: New Car Warranty- 4Years/ 50K miles which ever come first.
Platinum Warranty - 8 Years / 100K miles.
So if i take the Platinum, then my New Car Warranty will go away and Platinum kicks in. ..which means I get the only Platinum warranty.

Is this how it works ?

 

No, your new car warranty is in effect until it ends, then the aftermarket warranty takes effect.
