xc 60 2010, 3.0, t6 increase in fuel consumption.
Computer reading of gas consumption on my Volvo xc60 3.0 t6 increased up to 21 l per 100 km in city. Has anybody experienced a similar situation and what could be the reason?
I was told that it can be either MAF or thermostat but no error codes appear.

MAP sensor fault... maybe not MAF?
I had a similar problem with 2009 2.4litre AWD. No diagnostic error code and very low miles per gallon for sometime, maybev3 months. Eventually, power reduced to limp mode type conditions but not always. This time diagnostic codes came up for MAP and MAF sensor. Replaced MAP sensor first as it was a lot cheaper part! Success !! The clogged up/faulty MAP sensor caused other issues ie MAF sensor fault code but with new Map sensor all codes cleared.
