Hey guys,

I am new Volvo owner, having just purchased a nearly-new XC60 through a Selekt approved dealer. It's a 2020 reg, BUT the interface/maps/app situation on the centre console are awful. Feel very 90s! I want to use Apple CarPlay via my USB cable in the white boxed USB port but when i connect, nothing happens. I can connect to the phone via Bluetooth and I added the phone to the phone menu but I don't get an interface for Apple CarPlay and no app icon in the app downloads area?

Any advice? Do i need to take it to Volvo service centre and get it added? It seems like a small thing, but the difference between the in-built maps and Google Maps/Waze is stark and I'll be miffed if I need to buy a vent holder to map from my phone instead!
