I was getting a "low battery" warning in my 2017 XC60 so I changed the battery.
Unfortunately I didn't spot that there was a vent pipe on the battery on the bulkhead side so when I lifted the old battery out the vent pipe came with it.
The pipe is about 300 mm long has a 90 Deg elbow at one end, a small "T" about the middle and the other end has no fittings.
Please could someone post photos or diagrams or just shows me where the ends go.
Thanks
I've solved this myself.
The free end of the hose exists the engine bay through a grommet in line with the front of the battery.
The stub ends of the T in the middle of the tube fits into the vent hole in the main battery.
The free end of the white plastic elbow fits into the vent hole of the auxillary battery underneath the scuttle
