Hello all, I am new to this forum. Thanks for any advice or insight you can offer. I am considering purchasing an XC60 plus model and would like to know what the experiences are with the MPG. Through my experiences in life whatever the manufacturer states is probably 2 miles per gallon shy of the actual MPG listed. Unless you're on a completely flat sort of a downhill with a tail wind and you drive like an undertaker. :-)

My 2020 T6 w/polestar was in the low 20's (mpg). My 2023 B6 w/polestar gets in the mid to high 20's. That's at 80+ on the interstate.

 

2022 B6 XC60:

• Overall (combined City & Highway) the car states 23.9 MPG over the last 4,630 miles.
• Highway cruising at 70 MPH the car reports 32 to 34 MPG

 

Same MPG with my 2022 B5 AWD.
Be sure to factor in the cost of premium gas (91-94 octane), cause that's what these vehicles require.

 

2023 XC60 B5:

City>24 to 26mpg
HWY: 28 to 32MPG; a lot of times driving at 80mph

City: 28
Hwy: 34
When Polestar mode is activated the mileage declines to about 31 Hwy (I don't use Polestar around town.) The original window sticker MPG figures were 23 City and 30 Hwy, so I was pleasantly surprised that the actual MPG is better. Interestingly, I was only getting 26 City and 31 Hwy after 1 year, but after 22 months I am getting 28 / 34 now.
