My 2001 V70XC has a rattling sound from the front passenger side wheel when going over any kind of bump in the road. I'm fairly knowledgable and thought it was the strut, but had it replaced and the problem persists. The only clue is that the noise goes away after a few minutes when the engine warms up. Car drives perfectly. Please help, this is annoying!

 

Sounds like a bad upper spring seat.

 

how much and is there a diagram we can see of it? I have a similar noise though not consistant
