I’m 19 and new to the volvo game. I recently got myself a 2004 XC70. Today I noticed a part was broken in the engine bay when I got home from school. Could somebody help me identify it?
It's your vacuum pump switch. A small pump provides additional vacuum for the power brakes when needed. The switch breaks, the pump runs all the time, burns out and blows the fuse.
If so - you will need more than just the switch. Verify fitment, (and that your vacuum pump still works) there are several different styles.
