Coolant Type??
Getting ready to flush and fill the coolant on my wife's 01 XC-70. I noticed it is a nice green color (like Prestone)
When going to my parts sources to buy coolant, all they sell in either red or purple Pentosin coolant.
Does the car have the wrong (green) coolant in it now, or can I replace what is in it with good old PRestone?
If it does have the wrong stuff in it, can I drain it and re-fill with the right stuff, or does it need to be flushed.
Thanks,
Glenn

I think the red stuff is long life colant. I think thats kinda funny since your more likely gonna have a problem with your cooling system and have to change it anyway, not getting the total lifespan of that long life coolant. Stick with the prestone... It's cheaper aswell....
