Default Crank.. crank then... start!

My 2000 XC70 with 142 K has had all the work it should have up to 130k... new AC all of it... cam sensor, thermo, and the ilst goes on. I love her but now I am collecting lights on the dash. Evidently the 02 sensor code and the Cata code are up and persistent... the SRS light just came on I want to keep and would, but now the starting is getting rougher and rougher with each passing day. Crank for 10 sec nothing... Crank for another ten and then she starts up put the revs alternate b/t high and low over 2k and under 1k. ? Do not want to (Cannot) spend the 2k for a new Cat and Sensors... anything else I could check?

TIA

Default And the hits keep on a rolling...

So after reading aroung last night I discovered that autozone can plug in and give me my error codes... Drum roll...

P1332, P)422
P0013, P0128 and P0116....

Not worried about the last two... can handle that. I have not cleaned out the throttle body... honestly do not even know where it is... will look. Can I clean it out or is this a tech deal?

The Cam code... I just put in a 200$ cam sensor... ?

Just priced a new universal Cata... 250 installed at a Shop...

SHould I bail on the old volvo and trade her in?

It is under the intake manifold. You should be able to handle cleaning it.

I would fix everything else before worrying about the Cat.

Roger that... thanks for you time! I will clean the sucker out today and get to the cat last... if need be. It had 50% blockage... do not know if that would justify a sooner rather than later replacement. Cheers and THanks!

How do you know the cat is 50% blocked?

took it to a muff shop and they drilled some holes in it... seem to be thinking it could be something to do with the temp gauge... gauge does not work as of a week or so ago... then suddenly it will come to life. Computer thinking cold? fuel air mix way off?

The ECT might be bad. These Cats do not clog very often at all. That's why I asked how you know.
