I need to re-pack and re-boot the cv joints on my front axle shafts. Anybody know how the inner joint comes apart? I can't figure it out.

Why take it apart??? Was the boot broken and it filled with dirt? If not, use carb cleaner and rinse out all the grease, give it a couple of hours to dry out, and pack the bearing real good... put some grease in the boot too. If you need to replace the boot then you will need to take one end off and that takes a lot of pulling and tapping with a hammer. There is another option to the boot, the side splitting replacement that doesn't require disassembling the car. Good Luck! Russ
