Default daytime running lights

On our 850 wagon there was a little screw next to the headlight switch to turn-off the daytime running lights but we cannot find a similar way to do it on our 2004 XC 70.

Anyone figured out how to do it??

Thanks,
Cathy

Our 850 is the same way. On the XC-70's I have been told that in order to turn off the daytime lights it requires a software change at the dealer.

Most people want to do it to extend the bulb life. They can get expensive and on some models are a real pain to change out

I disabled mine in my 1999 s70 because all I had to do was turn a screw.

But I use them on grey, rainy, foggy days. I just turn the LOW beams on.

Anyways for you, it is a software update that needs to be done at the dealership. $$$$$
