I just purchased a 2016 XC 70 with 17000 miles preowned certified. The dealer put on new tires but I discovered later that left side were perellis and right side continental. Will this be a problem, should the dealer correct this?

As long as they are the same size, it shouldn't be a problem. If it bothers you though you can ask them to correct it.

 

As long as the tires are the correct size and speed rating that the car calls for you will have no issues.

That said the same make tires should be on the same axle rather than on the same side of the car. Go back to the dealer and have them rotated.

 

Did they just install them prior to purchase? Or did the previous owner maybe hit something on one side causing two to need replacement?

 

They were installed as a requirement of pre owned certified sale according to the dealership. I appreciate the feedback and I will have the tires rotated.

 

If they are all brand new, I would want them to all be the same. Even though it wouldn't really cause a problem.
