Hi,

I just noticed the other day that there was a slight gas leak coming from directly behind the right rear wheel of my 98 xc70. I brought it in to my mechanic and he is telling me that a tube going into the filter, and the filter itself, and a tube running out of the filter all have to be replace. He did not say the fuel pump had to be replaced but the price on the three parts totals around $500. This seems very high to me unless he is talking about the fuel pump assembly, but i did not get thre impression that he was. Does anyone know what parts he might be talking about exactly and what they should cost roughly?
