Default Locked doors unlock with just a handle pull
So I lock the doors on my '08 XC70 with my FOB and the buttons all dropped down into the locked position. However, when I pull on the handle, and without unlocking the doors, they just unlock and open. What's up with that?

Do you have the Key i your pocket ?

If you have the six button key then you have the PCC which may make this normal. Check the owners manual.
