Has anyone ever put an oil pressure gauge in their XC70? There is another thread like this going on at the 850 forum, and it got me to thinking about putting one on the wife's 01 XC70 AWD.

Where to mount the gauge?. I would like to do a pillar mount like on my Jetta, but I have not found a mount that is specific for the XC70.

What size thread is the sender? Is it metric, or is it 1/8" NPT or 1/4" NPT.

Is the sender located on the engine block by the oil dipstick similar to where it is described on the 850? It looks like it when I checked, but I want to be sure.

I tried the search, but it didn't answer my questions.

Any help or pictures would be great.

No one makes pods for the XC70 series. Is their an inflatible curtain in your A pillar? If so you can't put a pod there. Unless you have one custom made into the stock A Pillar.
