oil in the water
I recently replace the head gasket, 1500 miles ago, during a valve replacement, now I have oil in the water. No water in the oil. Starts and runs fine. 190,000 miles on vehicle. Could this be a breach in the radiator? Original radiator. I will do a compression test. Back when I replaced the head gasket, should I have re-tightened the head bolts. I tightened them as outline in the head kit. Years 25 ago when working on diesel tractors, we re-torqued the head bolts after several hour of operation.
No need to retorque these head bolts.
What year is it?
The cooler in the radiator (if a 98) might have gone bad. Or the cooler on the back of the oil pan(99 and newer) might be bad.
Or it could also be the transmission cooler.

Pressure tested and air moves from the oil side to the water side. Needs replaced. What is the best way to get all the oil out of the coolant system? I flushed it several times. Is there any dissolving agent to add, then flush?
