Default P3 high beams LED conversion

Hey everyone! New here with a 2009 XC70 T6 i just bought. I have the HID headlights and i was looking to convert the high beams to LEDs since the low beams are kinda brighter. So got a nice set from Amazon but seems the socket is quite different from what i was expecting... Anyone here made the switch on the high beams that has advice to fit them on? They just won't hold the new lights.
Thanks!

If you have HID bulbs - that is both the high and low beam bulb - there is only one bulb. Either the bulb moves up and down or there is a shutter that blocks part of the light (sorry, can't remember what my Volvo uses but it's the opposite of what my BMW uses)

So what you think are the high beams (the inner bulbs) are the daytime running lamps (if turned on)

This is only valid for cars with HID bulbs - if you have H11s - you do not have HID bulbs and you do have a separate bulb for high beams.

My 2008 V70 has the active bi xenon headlamps in the outer headlamp positions.
The bi xenon are on when the engine is on as they are the daytime running lights as well. When the high beam is activated the bi xenon go to high beams and the inner quartz halogen high beam bulbs turn on.

Don't know if they work differently in the US. I would double check your owners manual.
