Hello all. Just joined. I recently bought a used 98 Volvo XC V70 with 92,000. I think it is loaded but I'm not sure. What were the options for the 98 model year? I have a moonroof and heated leather seats. The owners manual was not in the car. When I start the car I get a "service" light and a "check engine" light. What do these mean? Also, what does the S, E, W stand for on the buttons below the gear shifter? Thanks for the help.

 

Service light means it needs an oil change or the light wasn't reset.
Check engine light means there is a problem with the engine system.

The w stands for winter mode (Car starts in 3rd gear)
S stands for Sport shifting
E stands for Economy shifting

 

i happen to have the same car, i have both the manula and the warranty manual? if you want we could have it copied if you pay for the copying!

just bought mine like 3 months ago and love it.....im use to big trucks and never thought i would be into a wagon as much as i am into my new car(old but new) mine has 75,000 on it and i cant explain how much i enjoy it.

Thanks for the offer but I just found a site online that has the entire manual. I've had mine for about the same period of time. When did you buy yours exactly? What color is it?

 

Bought mine in November and its jet black with tinted black windows.
