Reat Strut Removal
OK, I give up.....
How do I remove the rear strut assemblies from a 2001 XC70? I have removed the two bolts that hold the spring carrier to the sub frame and I have the lower strut mount unbolted as well. The spring carrier has come down by about 1/4 inch and mow seems to be stuck. Any ideas as to my next move? Are there some other fasteners that I've missed?

Problem solved
Well, there is a third bolt that must be accessed from the inside. The job isn't too bad overall if you remove the trailing link prior to removing the strut assembly.
