Hello all -- I just bought a 2006 XC70. The check engine light is on and I am looking for recommendations on simple code readers that will work on this vehicle. I'm just looking for one that will read the stored codes and will reset the CEL once the problem has been fixed.

I read on a V70 forum that someone with a 2004 V70 recommended an Autel MaxiScan MS300 (https://www.amazon.com/Autel-MaxiSca.../dp/B001LHVOVK) as a simple reader. I purchased one, but it will not read the codes on my 2006 XC70.

Can anyone recommend a simple code reader they like that will work on a 2006 XC70? Thanks!
