SRS- Airbag Service Urgent

SRS fault codes are still OBD2 compliant for the most part - but not all code readers can view/clear SRS codes. See if you can find a local indy to scan for free or see if a big box autoparts store rents (for free) a fully featured OBD2 code reader capable of scanning for SRS codes. Last time I had an issue my indy did a quick scan for me for free and wound up referring me to a dealer based on the code they found so it may not be a bad thing to just start with the dealer. Did you do anytning to set off the code such as unplugging a connector under the seat or in a door without disconnecting the battery? Do you park in a garage or outside where mice etc can get into the car? (they love to chew wires..)
