I goofed and didn't have the correct alignment when installing the transmission to the engine with torque converter. I think I crashed the front pump. I'm in the process of swapping the unit from my prior transmission to the "new" unit. Removing the bolts was easy but it must take a special tool to pull the front pump. I can see small indentions inside the bolt holes where some type of puller must hook on. Is it best to install the torque converter on the tranny first? Any assistance is certainly appreciated.
