I'm shocked too discover today that I will not be able to renew my On Call subscription for my 2016 Volvo XC70 which I bought from new five years ago. Apparently this is because ATandT 's 3G network is being decommissioned in 2022 due to 5G coming into play. Volvo is offering no immediate solution to upgrading the service other than to put me on a mailing list. This is a total disgrace as I lose very important safety and other features a year before the 3G actually ends. This makes me less likely to purchase a new Volvo in the future when the company treats its customers like this.
