Hello all. Thanks for having a great resource for Volvo owners. I hope to be able to contribute as well as I see people doing on this forum. For now I have a question I am hoping some members may be able to help with. I have a 2006 Volvo XC that has the check engine light active. I took it to Knechts and they found the code was P0497 (Evaporative Emission Systems, Low Purge Flow). I have searched all over the web trying to find information on this. At this point I need to clear the code and see if it re-activates. Here's my question - Does anyone know how to clear the Check Engine code? I know how to clear the Service Code, but need to know how to clear the Check Engine code. Thanks in advance!
