i have a 2001 v70xc (and a 2008 xc and love both...very different vehicles though). i think the linkage between wiper motor and both arms has failed. how do you access the motor under the cowling? i see there are about 8 press-in fasteners and want to know how to get them out without destroying them. after i get a peak i'll know better what's wrong. now it grinds but there's no action with either wiper arm. thanks!!
