Brought my 2007 XC70 in for 112K service and was told of excess crankcase pressure and oil leakage onto timing belt. Recommending replacing PCV oil trap, clean or replace PCV components, remove oil pan and clear oil passages, replace front and rear camshaft seals, replace timing belt. Estimate is $2200. Is this a reasonable price, and is there anywhere other than dealer where this could be done for less $?

 

Where are you located? I would be very careful there are a lot of mechanics out there that don't know volvos. Maybe we have one here that will assist if you give your location.
