About once a week my Volvo XC70 will not turn over (or do anything for that matter) for several attempts. Occaisionally, the computer generates an Immobilizer - see manual code but then eventually does start (sometimes after 15 or more attempts). Anyone with a similar problem?

There is an antenna ring in the steering column that reads the keys code and compares it with the one stored in the computer. If the codes match, it allows start. If they don't, no start. Have the antenna ring replaced.
