A week ago I had my xc90 ran out of gas I went got gas and when I started it it had a check engine on I went and checked the code and it was a p0103 maf sensor. I figured it just triggered when it ran out of gas bc the car was running fine so I cleared the code. I go and take up a large hill that I drive routinely and it stalls out on me and when I try and restart the engine it turns over than stalls out instantly. When I'm trying it the light is back. This happens over and over and I'm blocking traffic so I managed to get it to stay running running longer enough to get safely to the side of the road by pressing the gas as I'm starting it and throwing it into gear. It would not stay running at idle for the life of me. After twenty minutes of cursing and trying to find a tow truck I decided to just try it once more. To my surprise it starts and runs idle was rough but quieted down once I got going it got me about a mile before it stalled again. Now every time I start it it turns over fine but stalls out in two seconds unless I hold the gas down. I check the code p0103 maf sensor again. So I change the maf sensor but it still does the same thing. But if I unplug the maf sensor it won't stall out. The only code it's thrown is for the maf sensor. I'm not sure what to do and the mechanic wants 500 just to look at it
