I have the following intermittent problem. My 2004 XC90 with 45000 miles will screech VERY LOUDLY from the area of the front wheels (brakes?) when I pull awy from a cold start. If I press the brake pedal, it goes away faster than if I do nothng. In any event, once I get up to speed, it goes away after about 30 sec. Needless to say, this is disconcerting in parking lots, etc. I have had both rear wheel bearings changed, and a bunch of other warranty work done. I would like to find out if this is an known problem before takin it in to the dealer.
