My 04 XC90 was throwing a P0496 code, I checked the vacuum and discovered the vacuum to the intake was completely cracked open. I replaced this line and the others it connects to and reset the computer. A couple of hours of run time later the car throws a P0497, I reset it and checked the work I had done to make sure I didn't create another problem and all appeared fine. A couple of hours of run time later she threw a 0496 again and I have been researching the process of elimination. I am having a hard time identifying where the J house is located on this vehicle, apparently this connects to the carbon canister and has a history of failing. Can anyone point me in the right direction without telling me I have to drop the gas tank?
