2004 xc90 t6 awd
The fuel pump in my t6 died last friday, i drained the battery trying to start it repeatedly. Anyhow, i swapped it out yesterday, jumped the car and it fired right up, drove it around for 15 minutes or so. tried to run to the store last night and the battery was dead again. took it into the parts store and had them check it, battery good, they charged and it and i tossed it back in. it will now crank but wont fire. im getting fuel to the rail, not sure of the pressure since its 150 to rent a pressure test kit at the parts store. not throwing any codes at all. just kind of stuck as to why it fired up fine yesterday after the swap and now acts like its not getting any fuel. any ideas?
I would start by removing the battery from the vehicle and slow charging it overnight at 2 amps. Charge in a well ventilated area.
In warm weather, a battery that is low can start the car and end up dead in short time.
