hello everyone,

im writing to find out why my XC90 will not start 90% of the time here is a list of what i have already done

checked and rectified timing with locking tools and set TDC using VADIS as a guide

replaced fuel pump and fuel filter , fuel is present in the rail

replaced air filter

replaced spark plugs

replaced snapped crank positioning sensor cradle and sensor

replaced flacky looking coils packs , there is spark ... it hurt



i have had the car running 4 times these are the codes showing P0336 - crank shaft position "A" circuit range / performance and also P0040 02 signal sensors swapped

engine codes only show up once engine has been running - crank position sensor low signal ... but ive changed it .. also none of the coil wire appear to

be touching the sensor wires so possibly something wrong with the fly wheel ??

its becoming a mystery someone please help !!!
