I've googled it many times, but couldn't find the answer.

Read some threads in the forum also, I'm sure someone else has been down this road.

Trying to locate camshaft postion sensor on a '05 Volvo XC-90, V-8 4.4 engine.

Any help, pictures, steps, guide, would be appreciated.

 

I think it on the driver side of the engine...both of them are on the back of the heads. If you pull some wires out of the way you can get to them. It helps to take out the engine mount off the top to reach the back one, same way you would get to the starter. That's on my 2006 iirc.

 

I've got an '07 xc 90 and I can't find it either. It's all over google, but not the right engine, year, model, etc.
