Default 2010 XC90 Cluster on/off - BRAKE FAILURE STOP SAFELY - ABS/ANTI-SKID - HEADLAMP FAILU

Hi all got a 3.2 AWD 2010 XC90 automatic with 230K on clock.

Driving home, all of a sudden cluster lights up
-BRAKE FAILURE
-TRANSMISSION in LIMP MODE (gear 3)
-HEADLAMP FAILURE (been getting this for a week) not true, lights are fine.
-ABS/ANTI SKID (been getting this for a few weeks turn off when started, then comes on after 5 minutes of driving. at first it would come on after 30minutes of driving... for the last week within 2-3 minutes from start. However, before it comes on ABS seems to work ok... In canada, with snow I can skid car easily, ABS works... however, once light came on, it ABS stopped working.
-Active Bending Lights button flashes.

Drove home, parked it, and now it will not start
IMMOBILIZER SEE MANUAL
BRAKE FAILURE
Battery registered 12.1-12.3 volts

OBD scanner says U0001 & U0101 no communications.

Help, what do all these have in common?

I have had similar experience with a 2006 2.4 D5 AWD. I'm new to this forum as well dealing with my own issues. However, what I've learned so far, having errors with the BCM (Brake Control Module) and the TCM (Transmission Control Module) is the failure/s are likely to be related to a generic communication failure rather than a module failure. I got a diag port breakout box which enabled me to trace/identify the CAN Hi and CAN Low connections. It revealed low voltages and inoperation of my CAN Low bus, hence multiple module failures. For example My ABS shows as failure (unable to connect/communicate. I also get a Brake failure warning (stop safely) also my rear fog light don't light up and other spurious errors. There are some diagnistic things to check. With the battery disconnected, and access to the CAN Hi and CAN Low connectors, if all is well you should be able to read a resistance of 60 Ohms, also with the battery connected the CAN Hi should be circa 2.6 V, and CAN Low 2.4 volts. Mine is showing close to 2.6 CAN+ and 1.8 for CAN-, which is deemed faulty. The job is tracing the CAN bus. Look for any previous patching and open cable hacks. In my case I have a taped up section, prime suspect not proven yet. Also if you disconnect a module form the network, then the error may go (voltages show normal), indicating that the problem may be due to a connection to that module. I'm still learning, but feel like I'm making progress. Good luck.
