2019 Key Intermittent
I have a 2019 XC90 that started having issues with the key fob a couple of years ago. Of course, it wouldn't show up on the dealer's computer so as far as they and Volvo were concerned it was not a problem,
About 80% of the time everything is fine, but sometimes I will try to open the door and/or try to start and I get a "Key Not Found" message on the display. Putting the fob directly in the console tray sometimes helps, but I usually have to wait a couple of minutes or even get out of the car, close the door, re-open the door, and try again. It does the same with either of my key fobs.
I change the batteries every few months now, but for the first 3-4 years of ownership, I only replaced them once and it worked fine.
Anyone heard of this key fob problem?
