Hey folks,

I have a 2019 XC90 T6 Inscription with the adaptive LED headlights. I have a random question for the group. When the lights are on either high or low beam, everything lights up except for the 8 LEDs (or appear to be LEDs) in the highlighted box of the picture. Any idea what they are? Maybe something Euro spec only?

 

I am having the same issue. My low beams on my just purchased 2019 XC90 are subpar in my opinion and I realized these 8 LEDs on both sides never turn on no matter what the setting. Did you happen to ever find out an answer?? Thanks in advance!

Huh, our 2017 has the same thing. I read the owner's manual, no luck. I played with all the settings, no luck. I suspected they were "turning lights" but, no such luck - the car illuminates the right or left fog light for turning but, nothing I did lit the 8 little LEDs

Here is an educated guess. In your owners manual, you can find a section for 'fog' lights. It also will make one of your brake lights brighter in foggy conditions. And I could also be wrong.
