Question ABS Code Issue

Hi Everyone,

I'm new here and have used similar forums before and received useful information. I hope you guys can help.

I have a 2005 xc90 2.5T AWD. Last year, the ABS / AntiSkid / service failure message started appearing. It doesn't seem to affect the driving, but I know it disables the ESP or traction control system (or so it says on the dash). I know there are a few issues it could be, however before I take it to the far away dealer to get it diagnosed, I thought I could check here first. Below is some information on when it happens.

1. I start the car in cold weather the light is off and stays off for a long time while driving. Comes on either after a while of driving or if I stop the car shut it off then turn it on again.
2. Warm weather it seems as if it is always on.
3.It has come on when hitting a bump and / or making a turn.

If anyone has some thoughts on what it is or what the best method to diagnose or correct it I would greatly value it. Thanks!!

i'd check the wheel speed sensor connectors at each wheel that they are in good shape and tight.
